Privacy Policy

Draft prepared ahead of public launch — pending final legal review.

This policy explains what information Neryno collects when you use the service, why we process it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It is written to describe the service as it is actually built.

This document is a draft prepared ahead of public launch and is pending final legal review.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Neryno is the trading name of the service described in this document. The legal entity operating Neryno, its registered office and its registration details are published below.

  • Legal entity: To be confirmed before launch
  • Registered address: To be confirmed before launch
  • Country of establishment: To be confirmed before launch
  • VAT number: To be confirmed before launch
  • Company registration number: To be confirmed before launch
  • Privacy contact: To be confirmed before launch
  • Data protection officer: No data protection officer has been appointed at this time.

The operating entity details are being finalised and will appear here before public launch.

2. Scope

This policy covers the Neryno website, the signed-in application, and the video localization workflow. It does not cover third-party websites you reach from links on our pages.

3. Information you provide

  • Account information: your email address, the name you enter at sign-up and your password, which is stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider.
  • Uploaded video and audio content: the source files you upload, or the files retrieved from a direct public video link you supply. These may contain images of people, voices and other content you choose to include.
  • Generated output: the localized video and audio versions produced from your source material.
  • Job information: the settings you choose, such as source language, target languages, speaker options and video duration.
  • Billing information: your plan, purchases, billing address and tax identification details you enter at checkout. Card details are entered on our payment provider's hosted checkout and are not received or stored by us.
  • Support messages: anything you send us when you contact us.

4. Information collected automatically

  • Technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request and error logs generated by our hosting infrastructure.
  • Usage information about your jobs, credits and account activity, which is stored so your dashboard, credit balance and history are accurate.
  • Cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. No analytics or advertising technologies are in use at this time.

5. Your video, audio and voice content

Video and audio deserve specific explanation because they may contain personal data such as a person's face and voice.

Your source files are stored in private storage that is scoped to your account, and playback or download links are issued only to the account that owns the project.

To produce the localization you request, your content must be transmitted to and processed by the specialised service provider that performs transcription, translation, voice generation and lip-sync. Access is granted through a temporary, restricted link for the processing of your request.

Neryno does not claim to own or operate proprietary AI models. The localization is delivered using third-party technology providers listed below.

We do not sell your content, and we do not use your uploaded content for advertising.

6. Why we process your information

  • To deliver the service you request, including processing and localizing your videos.
  • To create and manage your account and give you access to your projects.
  • To handle billing, subscriptions, credit balances and applicable tax calculation.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access, and to keep the service secure.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To operate, maintain and improve the reliability of the service, using operational and aggregated information rather than the content of your videos.
  • To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.

The specific legal bases relied on for each purpose (contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, consent) are being confirmed with legal counsel and will be stated explicitly before launch.

7. Service providers and sub-processors

We use a small number of external providers to run the service. Each one processes information only as needed to provide its part of the service.

  • Payment processing provider (Stripe) — Processes payments, subscriptions, invoices and applicable tax calculation. Card details are entered on the provider's own hosted checkout and are never stored by Neryno.
  • Cloud application platform (Supabase infrastructure via Lovable Cloud) — Hosts the application database, authentication and private file storage for uploaded videos and generated output.
  • Video localization provider — Performs the transcription, translation, voice generation and lip-sync used to produce localized videos. Source video is made available to this provider through a temporary, restricted link only for the duration required to process your request.

8. Services we do not use

So that this policy is accurate rather than generic, we also state what is not in place today.

  • No transactional or marketing email provider is connected yet.
  • No analytics or advertising/tracking provider is connected yet.
  • No AI customer-support assistant is connected yet.

9. International processing

Some of our providers may process information outside the country where you are located, including outside the European Economic Area.

The exact processing locations of each provider and the transfer mechanism relied upon (such as standard contractual clauses) are being verified provider by provider and will be documented here before launch. We will not state a transfer mechanism we have not verified.

10. Retention

Account information and project records are kept while your account exists, because your dashboard, credit balance and billing history depend on them.

Neryno normally retains final localized videos for 90 days from completion and then deletes them. You must download them within this period.

The original video is deleted after all final localized versions have been saved successfully.

If the project fails, the original video may be retained for up to 30 days to allow a retry and is then deleted.

After deletion, the files may not be recoverable.

External artificial intelligence providers may apply their own retention periods, governed by their respective terms and data processing agreements.

Neryno may delete content earlier if it is illegal, dangerous, unauthorized or contrary to the Terms of Service.

Billing records are kept for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law.

11. Security

Access to your data requires authentication, and database access rules restrict every record to the account that owns it. Uploaded videos and generated output are held in private storage rather than public URLs, and are served through short-lived links issued to the owning account.

Payment card data is handled entirely by our payment provider's hosted checkout. Incoming payment and processing notifications are cryptographically verified before they are accepted.

No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we make no such claim. We do not claim any security certification.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a copy in a portable format and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the contact section. Some requests are currently handled manually by our team.

Self-service account deletion and personal-data export are not yet available in the application. Requests are handled manually until those features ship.

13. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary technologies to keep you signed in, to secure the application and to remember your cookie choice. Non-essential categories stay switched off unless you enable them. Our Cookie Policy explains this in detail and you can change your choice at any time from the footer.

14. Minimum age

Neryno is a commercial tool intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your country to create an account, and in any case at least 16 years old.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops. When we make a material change we will update the date shown on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the application.

Last updated: To be confirmed before launch.

16. Contact
